Jackie lives with her husband, son and three cats in Philadelphia, just blocks from the Wissahickon. When she’s not cooking, reading or writing, Jackie knits sporadically, pushes a stroller up unfairly steep hills regularly, gardens seasonally, and is the treasurer of her local Friends of the Free Library branch.

Jackie also writes about cooking for children at Kid’s Dish, and eating locally at Farm to Philly.

Nursing Your Kids is a space about breastfeeding that is meant for everyone. New mothers, experienced mothers, fathers, and even folks who are no longer breastfeeding or never even plan to. This site is a mix of personal "adventures", hot topics, and breaking news. All opinions, comments and questions are encouraged, just promise to play nice.
